It wasn't possible to take a full family vacation this year, so in desperation, I took Sydney and my mother on a 6-day trip to Maui. Notice I said trip, not vacation.
For the most part, Sydney enjoyed the 5 1/2 hour plane ride to Maui. Two whole hours passed before she asked when we were going home.
